He asked if there were any comments. Supervisor Palmateer reworked the last paragraph of the contract. Councilman Lennon pluralized hose and ladder. John Elliot mentioned the clause for renegotiation. It was stated it was the last paragraph. Acting Supervisor Walsh mentioned the figures, he believes, are on assessed value and since Athens will have a reassessment next year those values may need to be looked at. Supervisor Palmateer stated no one has ever told him how it was dispersed between the two towns and that it can’t be decided tonight. Councilman Antonelli stated the assessors spoke with one another and it was through assessed value. Supervisor Palmateer stated there should be some way to have a fair measuring stick. Acting
Supervisor Walsh stated it will be looked at a later date.
With no further comment a motion to adjourn the meeting was made by Councilwoman Dinkelacker and seconded by Councilman Antonelli. Meeting ended 6:19 pm.
Respectfully submitted,
Elizabeth Izzo
