Government Operations Meeting

Supervisor Markou opened the meeting. He then reviewed the following resolution:
RESOLUTION # 108-2009 SCHEDULE BUDGET WORKSHOPS ON 2010 TENTATIVE BUDGET
Councilman Antonelli offered the following for consideration and adoption,
WHEREAS, the Catskill Town Board has been presented with the Tentative Budget
2010, and
WHEREAS, the Town Board wishes to schedule Budget Workshops on said
Tentative Budget, so
THEREFORE, WE RESOLVE to hold Budget Workshops on the 2010 Tentative Budget on the following dates and times:
Workshop I, on Tuesday, October 06, 2009, and 7:15 pm or end of Town Board meeting,
Workshop II, on Wednesday, October 21, 2009, at 7:00 pm
Catskill Town Hall, 439-441 Main St., Catskill, NY to hear comments and concerns regarding proposed 2010 Tentative Budget.
Councilman Walsh seconded this motion.
Ayes 3, Nays 0, Absent 2 (O’Connor/Smith) Motion Carried
He also scheduled a Government Operations meeting that day at 5:30 pm.
He then stated the next item on the agenda is Greene Medical Art rezoning issue. He stated that Linda and Mike Sterthous may have come up with a simple method of doing this. He asked the Board to review the memo and the information they have regarding this issue. He stated this will be on the agenda on October 6th so we can move the process along.
Joe Deily stated the idea sounds feasible. He stated his clients don’t plan on doing anything that would need the Planning Board for site plan issues. He doesn’t believe parking will be a problem.
Supervisor Markou asked if there were any comments from the Board. With no further business a motion to adjourn was made by Councilman Antonelli and seconded by Councilman Walsh. Meeting ended at 6:50 pm.
