All solid fuel burning appliances such as woodburning, pellet, and coal stoves require a Building Permit before installation and are to be installed according to the manufacturer's specifications. Any stove installed in a manufactured home must be approved for that use. Once the stove is installed a Code Enforcement Officer will conduct an inspection and then issue a Certificate of Compliance.
