Handicap Permits
Handicap Permit Information:


Permanent Handicap Permit
*Valid for 5 Years – Must be Renewed

Temporary Handicap Permit
*Valid for 6 Months
*Can only be renewed twice


How to Apply for a Handicap Permit:


1.)     Applicant must be a resident of the Town or Village of Catskill
2.)     Applicant must obtain a Handicap Parking Permit Application
a.)  Applications are available at the Town Clerk's Office or at theDepartment of Motor Vehicles
3.)     Applicant must take the Handicap Permit Application to his/her doctor to be completed.
4.)     Return to the Town Clerk’s Office with the completed form
5.)     Bring your Driver’s License or Non-Driver's Photo Identification

NOTES:

1.) Only ONE permit will be issued, however, the permit can be transported to any car so long as the individual to who the permit was issued is in the car.

2.) Remove the permit from the mirror when driving

3.) If Permit is Lost or Stolen:
a.) You must pick up a form at the Town Clerk’s Office and bring it to the Police Station in the town or village where it was lost or stolen to be filled out.
b) Return the completed form to the Clerk’s Office at which time a new permit will be issued
c) The Replacement Fee for the new permit is $2.00
